This is a keyless entry proximity smart key for vehicles with

push button start. The vehicle is unlocked and started with the

key in your pocket or bag. If your vehicle requires you to

insert and turn a key in the ignition, this is not the correct

part.

IMPORTANT: this is the 433MHz ID46 (PCF7952) smart key.

Mitsubishi used several key types across these model ranges,

including 2 button and 4 button variants and different chip and

frequency combinations. Please compare your existing key against

the photos before ordering, checking button count, key shape,

blade profile, frequency and chip type. Message us with your

registration and we will confirm fitment.

⚠ IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

This key requires two steps before it will work:

1. CUTTING - the emergency blade is supplied uncut and must be

   cut to your key code by an auto locksmith or dealer. The

   blade is for manual door access if the fob battery fails, it

   is not used to start the vehicle.

2. PROGRAMMING - the key must be coded to your vehicle by an

   auto locksmith or dealer using diagnostic equipment. It will

   NOT operate your vehicle out of the box. This is a standard

   procedure any Mitsubishi specialist or mobile auto locksmith

   can carry out, usually in under 30 minutes.

Note: programming a spare key normally requires at least one

existing working key. If all keys are lost, your locksmith can

still programme it via the OBD port.
